I just saw this bed over on This is Glamorous and it totally brought out the uber-girl in me. so pink. so girly. so comfy. Too bad Dave would never let me get away with this.

terrific tapestry...

I just saw this post of Paolo Feliciano's photography over on Desire to Inspire and while the tapestry is what initially drew my attention (as you all know, I'm a huge elephant fanatic), I eventually found myself totally in love with this interior as a whole. The use of color and mix of textures are so inviting...

Great post over on Desire to Inspire of interior designer Amanda Nisbet's work. It's all beautiful but this kitchen stood out to me. I love the combination of materials - lucite, mirror, wood, marble, stainless - oh and those lights!

Speaking of lights, I spotted these (below) on her site - anyone know where one could find them?

I just spotted this clever little idea on poppytalk and it reminded me of beach blanket I made once by sewing together old beach towels... man I wish I had a pic of that!

Anyways, I love the concept and am tempted to make my own runner out of some old, mis-matched cloth napkins!

It's always when I make the decision to stop shopping and buckle down like a good little girl for a while that I stumble across a cute, affordable shop like Lulu (via PunkyStyle's twitter) that makes me want to throw all those responsible notions out the window.

With the majority of their pieces under $60, it makes it hard not to justify a little shopping spree...
