It's always hard getting back in the swing of things after a vacation. Especially with a dislocated thumb (surfing incident). There's always that let-down, day-after-Christmas feeling. In my book, the day you get home should be the day you book your next trip - so that you have something fun to look forward to again.

Anyways, I just went to use my convenient little calculator widget in dashboard and saw this awful reminder:



NEGATIVE days!!! Such a sad departure from this loveliness.

But I digress... at least spring is slowly starting to show it's face around here. In fact, I even saw a few tulip shoots poking out of the garden in front of my brownstone this morning. Maybe there is hope.
