aftermath...

I know I know... it's been 3 weeks since the conference and still didn't write a re-cap.




To be honest, it was just too much - you could say overwhelming, really.
Much like my bed right after (above).

Now, while getting a million paper samples, chip books, and random paraphernalia is fun and all, I'm a little annoyed that pretty much EVERY vendor present was preaching about how "green" they are but then gave me, like, 10 custom post-it pads! The promo stuff was just a little too over-the-top.

But all-in-all, I'd go again. The majority of the sessions were super-inspiring and made me want to go out there and change the world with good design! (even though one speaker basically crushed the dreams of the 600-some-odd people in the audience when he told us that, "As a designer, you will NEVER be able to change the world"... I mean honestly??)


Other than that, our big Sales Conference here at Fresh kicks off tonight with a cocktail reception at the Liberty Hotel... I'll be inundated with work presentations and dinners for the next 2 days - fun ;)


THEN on Thursday.......... Dave and I are jetting off to Arizona for a mini-vaca!!!!!



I prob wont get to post anything until after we get back so enjoy the warm weather and go change the world with good design!
