one man's trash...

is definitely another man's treasure, when you're talking about the installation below.







Very cool installation in Madrid - 80 recycled plastic bags, lit up and inflated by the wind - talk about recycling! It was created by Luzinterruptus (Madrid-based art group) and titled "A Cloud of Bags Visit the Pardo" - which lit up the lawn in front of the Prado Museum in early March.

Oh my gosh, these pictures of Jessica Stam in Feb 07's Harper's Bazaar are magical! The light is perfect and the dresses... well the dresses are beyond stunning.

Bring the outdoors in (and inside your coffee table!) with this cool planter-slash-coffee table from Feel More Human. Apparently they make their planters from a combo of volcanic ash and fine concrete powder so they're super light. The top is also made of bamboo - one of my fave "woods" :)

fireworks...

Rosemarie Fiore explodes and contains live fireworks in order to make these kick-ass drawings. There's nothing cooler than combining pyrotechnics and design, is there... haha.
